Become a B.A.R.K. Ranger

Now that it’s starting to get warm, it’s time to get outdoors and adventure with your dogs! Whether you are hiking a local trail, going to the beach for a swim or simply taking a walk around the neighborhood, fresh air & exercise does wonders for people and their pets.

The Primalvore Team wants to tell you about a fun program to inspire you to get outdoors this Summer...the B.A.R.K Ranger program!

Originally established in 2015 at Olympic National Park, this program helps raise awareness about traveling with dogs to National Parks. While the National Parks system has developed a reputation for not being overly dog friendly, more and more Parks are starting to embrace this creative way to welcome dogs.

Following the success of the pilot program, many other National Parks, National Monuments & National Historic Sites have become more dog-friendly.

B.A.R.K. Ranger stands for:

  • Bag your poop
  • Always wear a leash
  • Respect wildlife
  • Know where you can go
